2026 Dietetic Internship - KU MED

We are looking for volunteers to help prep our garden beds for the spring planting season. They will help with turning the soil over and cleaning out any vegetable debris left form last year. Volunteers will also help with tidying up the general outdoor area to prepare the grounds for outdoor use around the playground and gardens. We are looking at Friday, 02/27/2026--10AM to 1PM; Friday, 03/06/2026--9AM to 11AM and/or 1PM to 3PM; Friday, 03/13--9AM to 1PM and/or 1PM to 3PM WEATHER PERMITTING

Hours are 7:15am-5:45p. Volunteer shifts open: 7:15a-10am, 10am-12pm, 12pm-3pm, 3pm-5:45pm. Swimming volunteers during NSDs: 1pm-3pm. NSDs coming up are Feb 13th and April 10th. Duties include: assisting with crafts, serving snacks, book reading, gym and outdoor time and games.
