Providence YMCA/Ball Family Center

Help us grow more than food—we’re growing hope, health, and community! The Providence Y’s Community Garden provides fresh produce to local families and teaches the joy of gardening to all ages. We’re looking for volunteers ready to roll up their sleeves and make a lasting impact. As a Community Garden Volunteer, you’ll help with: ✅ Fall soil prep and clean-up to ready the garden for spring planting ✅ Planting, watering, and weeding throughout the growing season ✅ Harvesting fresh produce to share with our neighbors ✅ General garden care and upkeep (no green thumb required!) Volunteer Opportunities (Year-Round): 🍂 Fall & Winter – Prep soil, clean beds, and ready the garden for spring 🌱 Spring – Plant seeds and seedlings to bring the garden to life ☀️ Summer – Water, weed, and harvest 🍁 Fall – Collect the last harvest and prepare the beds for winter rest Bring your energy, a love of the outdoors, and a heart for helping others. Together, we’ll turn soil into nourishment and community into connection. 🌻
