Join our team this summer and help bring the YMCA's story to life! We are seeking a creative, motivated intern to support our marketing and communications efforts from June through August. This hands-on opportunity involves creating and managing social media content, capturing photos and videos at events, editing short-form media, assisting with website updates, and supporting podcast production. The ideal candidate is collaborative, eager to learn, and passionate about connecting communities through storytelling. Flexible scheduling available, approximately 25 hours per week. This is an unpaid internship opportunity for students looking to build real-world experience in media and marketing.
Build Professional Marketing Skills — Gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, photography, and videography by actively contributing to YMCA promotional campaigns and community outreach efforts throughout the summer. Develop Media Production Proficiency — Strengthen skills in video editing, short-form content, podcast recording and editing, and website support by working on real projects within a professional team environment. Make a Meaningful Contribution — Support the YMCA's mission by creating engaging content that increases program visibility, builds community engagement, and positively represents the organization across digital platforms.
