🌱 Grow Goodness – Volunteer in the Y’s Community Garden! North Kansas City YMCA Help us sow seeds of health, hope, and community! Our 20-bed Community Garden supports the Y’s mission of nurturing spirit, mind, and body—for all. We’re looking for volunteers ready to dig in and make a difference. As a Community Garden Volunteer, you’ll help with: ✅ Planting, watering, and weeding ✅ Harvesting fresh produce in the summer ✅ General garden care and clean-up ✅ Light to moderate manual labor (come ready to get your hands dirty!) Volunteer Shifts (March–October): 🌞 Morning Watering – Mon–Fri: 8 AM–10 AM 🌿 Garden Weeding – Mon–Fri: 10 AM–12 PM & 4 PM–7 PM 🌇 Evening Watering – Mon–Fri: 5 PM–7 PM No green thumb required—just a good attitude and a willingness to grow with us! Let’s turn soil into smiles and plants into purpose. 🌻
