We’re looking for a warm, friendly volunteer to be Santa at our Cookies with Santa event on December 12 at Platte County Community Center South — and we’d love your help finding the perfect Santa! Our Santa will: ✨ Greet families and children ✨ Pose for photos ✨ Listen to holiday wishes ✨ Spread cheer and help make magical memories We provide the Santa suit (or you can bring your own), and YMCA staff will be on-site for support throughout the event. This is a fun, meaningful way to bring joy to families and help make the holidays special for our community. Create a Welcoming, Joy-Filled Holiday Experience for Families: Provide children and parents with a magical, memorable Santa visit that strengthens community connection, promotes family engagement, and brings the spirit of the season to life at the YMCA. 2. Foster a Sense of Belonging and Celebration Within the Community: Ensure all families feel included, valued, and supported during the holiday season by offering a fun, festive event that encourages togetherness and strengthens relationships between members, volunteers, and the Y.
